From The School Photo Podcast, hosted by UKSPA committee member Lee Brooker.
Andy Molloy has worked in school photography for more than five decades. He grew up in a family of photographers (his father introduced colour school photography in the UK), and later brought digital capture and online ordering to the Spanish school photography market.
Andy and Lee talk about AI, automation and new technology, why personality and engagement matter more than pressing a button, and how small photographers can compete with the big players. Andy also explains how he gets a whole class smiling naturally by pouring water over his own head.
