A two-day international conference for school photography businesses, with the theme "Coopetition: the future of school photography". The idea is that competitors in school photography can still learn from and work with each other. UKSPA is a supporter.
Thursday 28 and Friday 29 January 2027 at the Thistle Heathrow Terminal 5 Hotel & Conference Centre, Bath Road, Longford, West Drayton UB7 0EQ. From 3pm on Wednesday 27 January there is optional 1-to-1 coaching, followed by an evening of networking and dinner.
Speakers come from the USA, Australia, South Africa, Brazil, Sweden and the UK, alongside international panels, roundtable discussions and live demonstrations from suppliers. UK panellists include UKSPA committee member Lee Brooker (moderating), David Lloyd of Aperture Portraits, Jeff Brown and Andy Molloy.
Tickets are £99 per person including VAT. That covers both days, refreshments, Thursday's buffet lunch, a welcome drink and Thursday's buffet dinner. There's room for about 100 attendees and the organisers expect it to sell out. Tickets can't be refunded but can be transferred to another school photography professional.
The programme is aimed at established, higher-volume school photography companies, but newcomers are welcome. The organisers are volunteers, and any surplus goes into future events.
